Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a technical customer-facing role such as Sales Engineer, Technical Customer Success, or Software Implementation Consultant, with prior experience as a Forward Deployed Engineer being highly desirable. Strong technical experience in database, data warehouse, data lake, cloud, data catalog, data engineering/pipelines, and BI is required, along with proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.

Responsibilities

The Forward Deployed Engineer will own the execution and on-time delivery of end-to-end projects for high-value customers in partnership with the broader Tonic.ai account team, deploy onto Customer team(s) to implement and operationalize Tonic.ai applications as part of an end-to-end solution, collaborate closely with the Sales and Solutions Architect teams to validate the scope of Professional Services engagements and assist in writing statements of work, assist in defining parameters for Professional Services work at Tonic.ai and contribute to process and documentation improvement initiatives, and liaise with Product and Engineering teams to support existing projects and/or provide feedback on the core Tonic.ai platform. Additionally, the role involves traveling up to 25% of the time to customer sites.
