Currently live in the Hartford, CT area
Willingness to travel up to 30%, including unpredictable travel for support of other territories and training
Superior technical competency, including troubleshooting and resolving complaints on a minimum of five increasingly complex instruments
Complete instrument training across geographical IRL
Ability to work flexible hours, including standby, after-hours, and on-call rotation responsibilities
Strong communication skills for effective customer service and cross-functional collaboration
Understanding and adherence to Quality System, regulatory, and compliance procedures
Ability to maintain a safe work environment following laboratory safety guidelines
Time, territory, and inventory management skills
Pro-active account management capabilities

Responsibilities

Provide on-site technical support to Core Lab customers, including installation, corrective, pre-emptive, and proactive maintenance
Represent Abbott's Core Diagnostics to customers and support field personnel and District business objectives
Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints on instruments, accurately documenting resolutions
Schedule and complete routine preventive maintenance, installations, and updates
Mentor other Field Service Representatives (FSRs) by providing direction and developing mentoring skills
Integrate effectively into the service team, working within a diverse and dynamic environment
Manage IRL ownership to achieve organizational goals and customer satisfaction
Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and local performance partnership teams (P2T) to ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain ownership of customer issues until successful escalation or handoff
Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the quality system
Provide superior customer service to build loyalty through proactive management and partnership
