Requirements

  • Diploma or university degree in a relevant technical or scientific discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in field service or a related customer-facing technical role
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Fluent in Finnish and English (verbal and written); additional Nordic language skills are an asset
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Finland and across the Nordics
  • Experience with electromechanical systems and software-controlled instruments is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Install and implement new systems at customer sites
  • Perform preventative maintenance, hardware/software upgrades, and repair interventions
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and application issues via phone and on-site visits
  • Provide customer training on software and hardware upgrades
  • Collaborate closely with Application Support Specialists and Commercial teams
  • Participate in service summits, expert meetings, and internal workshops
  • Provide primary service within assigned territory and backup support as needed
  • Maintain tools, accessories, and spare parts inventory according to procedures
  • Document service activities in the call management system
  • Represent Abbott professionally and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
