Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of the Roofr brand, value proposition, and target audience to execute an event strategy that acquires and delights prospective and existing customers, partners, and investors.
- Initiate and project manage event projects end-to-end, ensuring they are completed on time with clearly defined task lists, deadlines, and resource requirements.
- Measure the impact of event campaigns, optimize performance, and iterate on acquisition and affinity-focused initiatives.
- Identify new opportunities for event sponsorship, manage the sponsorship cycle, including budget negotiation, speaker identification, deliverable execution, conversion funnel creation, and results reporting.
- Manage in-person field events and future virtual events from inception to completion, overseeing timelines, vendor management, speaker management, shipments, collateral (print and digital), signage, giveaways, catering, AV requirements, travel, payments, and technical setup/teardown.
- Nurture positive speaker and partner experiences by building trusting, long-term relationships to foster marketing partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with the field marketing team to plan and execute pre-, during-, and post-event activities, including nurture and conversion programs.
- Liaise with the wider Roofr team (brand, revenue, product, support) to secure necessary help, support, and resources for event-related activities.
- Partner with the creative team to ensure high-quality, consistent branding across all events.
- Order and track event and partner inventory, including collateral and giveaways.
- Manage all post-campaign administration, including budget reconciliation, KPI tracking, follow-up communications, team debriefs, and ROI analysis.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or demand generation.
- Proven experience in event marketing tasks, including planning and reporting for tradeshows, roadshows, webinars, and community events.
- Proficiency with email marketing and event software such as HubSpot, Splash, or similar platforms.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Superior written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time to various events in North America.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Independent, resourceful, and capable of creative problem-solving.
- Analytical skills to identify trends, patterns, and challenges.
- Experience in a startup SaaS environment, preferably within the SMB or construction-tech sector, is a plus.
