The Role

Overjet is looking for a Director of Events to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of all experiential marketing initiatives for its Practice and Insurance-facing segments. • Managing all end-to-end event operations, including booth planning, room setup, decor, swag/give-aways, catering, transportation, registration, invitation/lead list management, and follow-ups. This involves setting priorities, identifying requirements, meeting deadlines, and proactively mitigating potential risks.
  • Regularly communicating with key internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, clinical, leadership team) and external stakeholders (vendors, event organizers, customers, partners) to ensure alignment and serving as the primary point of contact for event-related inquiries and on-site issue resolution.
  • Managing venue and vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, and event logistics.
  • Managing all event budgets, timelines, and deliverables, including coordinating the delivery of all online and offline marketing collateral.
  • Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on event performance to gauge ROI, optimize future event presence, and inform the overall event strategy.

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of experience in event marketing/event management, specifically within a high-growth B2B startup.
  • Expert interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to build event strategy in an ambitious, high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong project management and organization skills with the ability to independently manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and marketing management software (HubSpot, Pardot, Salesforce).
  • Ability to travel up to 25% per month.
