  • Salary: $214,000 - $259,200 USD (with a higher range of $238,000 - $288,00 USD in select locations)

dbt Labs is seeking an Enterprise Sales Director to manage and nurture its enterprise customer base. This role involves identifying new business opportunities and uncovering growth potential within existing clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of complex sales cycles and the ability to anticipate future trends to drive success and contribute to the evolution of dbt Labs.

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and close a pipeline of companies that can benefit from dbt Cloud.
  • Manage and deepen the dbt Cloud footprint in existing accounts.
  • Engage with technology partners and ecosystem service providers to optimize reach in the region.
  • Lead and contribute to team projects to develop the sales process.
  • Work with product to build and maintain the dbt Cloud enterprise roadmap.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of closing experience in technology sales with a proven track record of exceeding annual targets.
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and develop them into a consultative sale.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and in-person communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Diligence and organizational skills to manage long, intricate sales cycles.
  • Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast-paced work environment.
  • Passion for being an inclusive teammate and involved member of the community.
  • Experience with SQL or willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in analytics, ETL, BI, and/or open-sourced software.
  • Knowledge of or prior experience with dbt.
