Requirements

Candidates must have 7+ years of success in strategic, complex sales, ideally in high-growth or early-stage companies, with a proven ability to prospect, build pipeline, and self-source enterprise opportunities. A track record of landing and expanding 7-figure deals with Fortune 1000 / G2K accounts is required, along with experience navigating long sales cycles with multiple buying centers and executive stakeholders. Familiarity with MEDDICC/MEDDPIC or similar structured sales methodologies is necessary, as is the ability to craft and deliver a compelling business case. Candidates should be comfortable selling multi-product, complex tech to various personas and have experience selling un-budgeted solutions based on value, not brand recognition. A demonstrated commitment to excellence, ownership, and long-term success, with an average tenure of 2+ years in recent roles, is also required. Experience selling through partners or a channel-led motion is a plus. The position is remote and based out of Chicago, requiring candidates to be located in the region with a strong history of selling into it.

Responsibilities

The Strategic Sales Representative will build and execute a territory plan to consistently exceed quota, owning the entire sales cycle from outbound prospecting to closing strategic, multi-stakeholder deals. Responsibilities include developing and nurturing relationships across multiple buying centers within large, multinational enterprises and driving opportunities using structured sales methodologies like MEDDICC/MEDDPIC for qualification, process rigor, and forecast accuracy. The role involves clearly articulating Cribl’s value proposition to stakeholders from engineers to C-level executives, prioritizing customer outcomes, and acting as a trusted advisor. Collaboration with pre-sales, product, and marketing teams to win high-value opportunities is essential, and occasional duties outside standard working hours may be required.
