As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be directly responsible for driving net new business with our top-tier accounts. You will manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to successful close, and will be supported by two dedicated Business Development Representatives (BDRs). Utilizing a sophisticated solution-based selling approach, you will educate potential customers on how SMS marketing can significantly enhance their overall marketing strategy, directly impacting our company's growth. You will also play a vital role in shaping our team culture and go-to-market organization, contributing to strategies that establish Postscript as the undisputed leader in the emerging SMS marketing space for ecommerce.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Sales Process: Manage the entire sales cycle, including initial contact, opportunity management, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Exceed Targets: Consistently meet and exceed business targets.
  • Manage Complex Deals: Adeptly handle multiple complex deals simultaneously, employing a solution-based selling approach that engages all relevant stakeholders.
  • Consultative Selling: Advise prospects and customers on how SMS can enhance their marketing strategies, understanding various ecommerce marketing technologies and how Postscript integrates into customer technology stacks.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong, lasting relationships with prospects and customers to ensure their success.
  • Brand Representation: Consistently represent Postscript's product, brand, and company in a professional and impactful manner, effectively demonstrating the value we provide.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent Postscript at industry events.
  • High Standards: Exhibit exceptionally high standards in timeliness, responsiveness, and follow-up.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records in Salesforce CRM, actively updating sales activities, pipeline, and all relevant sales data.
  • Team Collaboration: Develop successful partnerships with dedicated BDRs, the Partnerships team, and the Customer Success Management (CSM) organization.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to defining and iterating on the sales process.

Requirements

  • Sales Experience: 7+ years of B2B sales experience in a closing, quota-carrying role, preferably within SaaS, marketing technology, or a related domain (e.g., strong marketing agency background).
  • Sales Methodology: Proven experience using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology.
  • Industry Experience: Experience selling ecommerce or martech solutions is strongly preferred.
  • Deal Size Experience: Proven track record of successfully closing deals ranging from $50K to $500K and above.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Mindset: High attention to detail, with a process and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Customer Focus: Demonstrated track record of creating value for customers and their businesses, with a reputation for being loved by your customers.
  • Performance: Demonstrated record of meeting and exceeding performance targets.
  • Drive: Passionate and driven with a strong work ethic ("hustle").
  • Ecommerce Knowledge: Prior ecommerce experience or knowledge is desired.
  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
