Requirements

Candidates must have at least 7 years of B2B sales experience in a closing, quota-carrying role, preferably in SaaS, marketing technology, or a related domain like marketing agencies. Experience with a consultative, solution-based sales methodology and selling ecommerce or martech solutions is strongly preferred. Proven success in closing deals ranging from $50K to $500K and up, strong networking and relationship-building abilities, and a high attention to detail with a process and solution-oriented mindset are essential. A demonstrated record of meeting and exceeding performance targets, passion, a hustle mentality, and prior ecommerce experience or knowledge are desired. Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com, is also required.

Responsibilities

The Enterprise Account Executive will be responsible for driving net new business with top accounts by managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through successful close, with support from two BDRs. They will utilize a sophisticated solution-based selling approach to help potential customers understand the value of SMS marketing and its benefits as an enhancement to their overall marketing strategy. Key duties include owning the entire sales process, consistently meeting and exceeding business targets, handling multiple complex deals simultaneously, and advising prospects and customers on SMS marketing strategies. Building strong relationships with prospects and customers, representing the product and brand effectively, and representing Postscript at industry events are also core responsibilities. The role requires maintaining accurate records in Salesforce CRM, actively updating sales activities and pipeline data, and developing successful partnerships with BDRs, the Partnerships team, and the CSM organization. Additionally, contributing to defining and iterating the sales process is expected.
