Position Overview

Grafana Labs is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive, Acquisition to drive new business growth within the Swiss region. This role involves identifying, nurturing, and closing opportunities with new customers, managing sales forecasts, and tracking customer data. We emphasize a consultative sales approach, focusing on understanding customer needs before presenting solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in articulating the value of our products, guiding customers through the trial phase, and ensuring a smooth handover to our Growth team. A technical background and prior experience selling technical products are highly preferred.


Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed individual quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting into net-new customers.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, sales meetings, product demos, proofs of concept, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Cultivate sales through a combination of outbound prospecting and inbound leads.
  • Effectively understand and communicate the value proposition of both Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise.
  • Maintain and manage sales pipelines accurately within Salesforce.
  • Handle quote creation, order processing, and address day-to-day customer requests.

Requirements

  • German language fluency is preferred.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Infrastructure Technology Sales.
  • Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment (ideally within the top 10% of performers).
  • Possess an energetic, upbeat, entrepreneurial, and tenacious team player attitude.
  • Adaptable with demonstrable experience in high-velocity technology companies.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with open-source technology is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills across all channels (in-person, online, written) and the ability to build strong working relationships both in-person and virtually.
  • Experience utilizing Command of the Message and MEDD(P)ICC methodologies is ideal.

Compensation and Benefits

  • The OTE compensation range for this role in Switzerland is CHF 248,500 - CHF 258,500. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's level, experience, and skillset as assessed during the interview process.
