Requirements

Candidates must have proven experience as a DevOps or Digital Media Engineer, with a strong understanding of the Azure Cloud platform and its services for application deployment and scalability. Essential skills include proficiency in Python or other scripting languages, a strong track record in Digital Marketing delivery (Google Marketing Platforms, GA4/GTM, Meta Business Manager, social media, paid media), and a solid understanding of database systems and SQL technologies. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is required. Preferred qualifications include working knowledge of PowerApps, PowerBI, Synapse Analytics, and CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions, along with experience in Scrum-based Agile development.

Responsibilities

The Engineer will execute engineering tasks within the Media team, from conception to completion, focusing on delivering business value and implementing media team's business requirements. Responsibilities include developing clear, well-structured code for microservice-based RESTful APIs, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the Media landscape, and developing cohesive plans to overcome technical challenges. The role involves developing and enforcing engineering best practices and standards with a Test-driven, DevOps-first mindset, identifying non-functional requirements, and promoting good practices in accessibility, performance, and security. Additionally, the Engineer will liaise with product owners to transform visionary ideas into technical solutions and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholder teams to ensure project alignment and quality.
