Requirements

Candidates must have deep expertise in SaaS security, network security, and compliance, with a strong emphasis on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) is also required. Proven hands-on network experience managing complex layer-4 to layer-7 rules, along with proficiency in Powershell or similar scripting skills, is necessary. Strong written communication and attention to detail are essential for responding to customer inquiries and creating technical documentation. Experience with vulnerability management and penetration testing programs is also required.

Responsibilities

The Cloud Security Engineer will design, implement, and optimize cloud security architectures across GCP, Azure, and AWS, focusing on enhancing and monitoring security alerts from SIEM systems. Responsibilities include configuring and managing cloud-native firewalls and WAFs, reviewing and resolving security alerts, and expanding alerting capabilities. The role involves providing expert guidance on SaaS security best practices, leading compliance initiatives for industry regulations, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients by communicating technical security concepts and delivering presentations. Additionally, the engineer will support incident response activities, lead Incident Response Plan initiatives, and manage vulnerability management and penetration testing programs.
