Expertise in API design and scaling (RESTful, gRPC, Thrift), including data modeling, error handling, performance optimization, and security, is required. Experience leading architecture and technical direction across multiple teams or product areas, coupled with strong problem-solving skills to address scalability, reliability, and privacy challenges, is also necessary. Excellent collaboration and communication skills are vital for working with stakeholders, and the ability to mentor senior engineers and elevate technical standards is a key requirement.
