Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or have at least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry. A minimum of 2 years in sales and customer service is required, along with the ability to travel 100% and maintain mobility for relocation within the United States. The role also requires the legal ability to operate a motor vehicle, and a company vehicle will be provided after a Motor Vehicle Report review. Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the assigned territory and should not require immigration sponsorship from GM.

Responsibilities

The District Sales Manager will act as a liaison between GM, its dealerships, and partners, managing and engaging Chevrolet dealers within the Nashville, TN territory. Responsibilities include visiting dealerships to work with them on product and service sales, developing and implementing marketing initiatives, managing customer retention, overseeing product displays, conducting financial analysis, and providing training to ensure dealer success. They will also facilitate mentorship, track customer satisfaction, assist with product launches, monitor dealership personnel training, manage dealership inventory, analyze sales data and market conditions to identify revenue opportunities, increase sales of GM vehicles and accessory parts, and assist with customer problem resolution. The role involves traveling to dealerships within the designated region.
