Position Overview

This is a remote position, allowing for permanent off-site work. However, the role requires regular territory visits to dealerships. There are two openings, both headquartered in Knoxville, TN.

  • District 1: Knoxville and Chattanooga
  • District 2: Johnson City, Sevierville, Bristol, VA, and WV

The selected candidate must live in the territory or relocate within 50 miles of Knoxville, Tennessee. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.

The Sales Professional is responsible for managing Sales and Service Agreements between GM, its dealers, external fleet customers, and Independent Aftersales Market (IAM) stores. They will act as consultants to dealers and IAMs, collaborating on business plan development and implementation. Responsibilities may include developing and executing marketing initiatives, customer retention strategies, product display improvements, financial analysis, and training programs.


Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of District Revenue, Retention, and Customer Experience.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to dealership leadership.
  • Drive revenue growth, achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and effectively execute all CCA programs and initiatives.
  • Prepare for and conduct standardized dealer contact processes, focusing on dealer priorities, needs, and GM performance goals.
  • Analyze dealer marketing and merchandising plans, providing recommendations to increase service lane traffic.
  • Create and execute annual Business Plans and implement countermeasures to address challenges.
  • Successfully resolve aftersales customer needs, including but not limited to: SPAC/CAC/TAC cases, goodwill, warranty, and policy requests.
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): SRT sales objective, NPS, Retention, STS Training, EV Training & Compliance.

Requirements

Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience leading, guiding, and improving dealership fixed operations.
  • Proficient automotive industry knowledge and business acumen, including service operations, warranty administration, and customer experience.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on persuasion and information delivery.
  • Proficient knowledge of Dealership Service & Parts Operations, including:
    • Automotive Parts and Service Systems
    • Dealer Operating Report & Fixed Analysis Tools
    • Dealership profit department structures and their interconnections
  • Consultative Selling Skills.
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time.

  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis and successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Report review.
