Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree. A minimum of five years of experience in dealership or automotive service operations is required, along with project management experience preferred. Strong communication and facilitation skills, and attention to detail are necessary, as well as proficiency at an intermediate level with Microsoft Office products. Applicants must also meet Dealer Tire’s Motor Vehicle Record Policy and Company Vehicle Fleet Policy.
As a Fixed Operations Consultant, the primary responsibilities include collaborating with Account Management and other Operational roles to improve dealership performance through diagnosis, analysis, and action plans. The role involves creating implementation plans, presenting findings, and working with dealership management to gain support and drive results. It also requires building relationships at all levels of the dealership, developing operational solutions, communicating analyses and strategic plans, and managing activity tracking in Salesforce. Additionally, the consultant will complete service lane assessments, analyze dealership gaps, develop product screen recommendations, execute customized coaching solutions, assess the competitive market, and perform the role of service advisor to increase service lane sales, all while submitting timely reports and adhering to company policies.
