Strong persuasive and informative communication skills, along with a deep understanding of automotive parts and service systems, dealer operating reports, fixed analysis tools, dealership profit departments, and consultative selling skills are essential. The role requires the ability to travel 70% of the time, and the selected candidate must reside in or relocate to San Bernardino, CA, or a surrounding area within the specified territory.
The District Manager will have territorial responsibility for administering Sales and Service Agreements with GM, dealers, external fleet customers, and Independent Aftersales Market (IAM) stores. They will act as a consultant to dealers and IAMs, collaborating on business plan development and implementation. Responsibilities include developing and executing marketing initiatives, improving customer retention, managing product displays, conducting financial analysis, and providing training. The role involves driving revenue growth, achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and executing all CCA programs and initiatives. This includes preparing for and conducting standardized dealer contact processes, analyzing dealer marketing and merchandising plans to increase service lane traffic, creating annual business plans, implementing countermeasures for challenges, and resolving aftersales customer needs, including SPAC/CAC/TAC cases and goodwill/warranty/policy requests. Key performance indicators include SRT sales objectives, NPS, Retention, STS Training, EV Training, and Compliance.
