Requirements

Candidates must possess 8-10 years of media planning/buying experience, with a minimum of 5 years focused on video investment across Linear TV, CTV, and Digital Video, preferably within an agency setting. Proven success in managing and developing media teams, exceptional negotiation skills, and strong analytical abilities to interpret data are essential. A deep understanding of the evolving video landscape, including linear TV, CTV, OTT, and digital video, is required, along with strategic thinking, creative problem-solving, initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to self-development.

Responsibilities

The Director of Video Investments will develop innovative, data-driven video investment strategies, negotiate and place video buys, and prepare client buy overviews. They will also assist with agency Upfront and Scatter negotiations, stay current on video marketplace trends, and provide recommendations to the integrated agency team. This role involves training and managing Associate team members, reporting on campaign performance in partnership with the integrated media team, and building collaborative relationships with media partners. Responsibilities include maintaining constant communication with agency teams and clients, assisting with industry POVs and thought leadership, resolving media billing issues with the finance team, ensuring adherence to client budgets, and analyzing campaign performance data to identify optimization opportunities and strategic recommendations.
