Social Media Lead (Video-Native)

Position Overview

Zerion is seeking a video-native social media lead to spearhead our narrative across key platforms including X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ideating, shooting, editing, and publishing engaging, short-form videos that capture and amplify crypto culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute a video-forward social strategy aligned with Zerion’s brand and growth objectives.
• Produce 3-5 short-form videos weekly from concept to publication, ensuring at least two are optimized for TikTok and Instagram Reels each week.
• Serve as the on-camera voice for Zerion at conferences and in daily content creation.
• Translate complex DeFi concepts and product updates into compelling visual stories.
• Monitor trends, memes, and audio to ensure Zerion remains central to relevant conversations.
• Manage the content calendar and collaborate effectively with design, product, and community teams.
• Track content performance (views, watch time, engagement, follower growth) and implement rapid iteration based on data.
• Source and manage freelance videographers or motion designers as needed to scale production.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in social video creation for a brand or personal channels, supported by a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci. Motion graphics skills are a plus.
• Comfortable and capable both in front of and behind the camera.
• Solid understanding of platform algorithms, analytics, and growth strategies.
• Skilled in writing concise, meme-savvy copy, including threads, captions, and calls-to-action.
• Bonus: Experience with live-streaming tools (OBS, StreamYard), 3D/AR, or decentralized social platforms like Farcaster/Lens.
• Bonus: Experience with AI content creation.

• Zerion’s short-form videos consistently achieve 10k+ organic views.
• The community actively remixes Zerion's clips and references the brand in memes.
• Follower growth on X and TikTok accelerates by 50%+.
• The Zerion wallet account becomes a must-follow presence on social media.
