Requirements

The Director of Strategic Customer Operations should have proven experience in shaping and executing customer experience strategies across the entire customer lifecycle, from onboarding to retention. This role requires leadership experience managing teams across technical disciplines, project management, and service operations. A strong understanding of telecommunications services like Dedicated Internet Access, Ethernet, Broadband Fiber, VoIP, and e911 is essential. The candidate must be adept at collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, Product, and IT teams, and possess strong analytical skills for customer behavior and service performance. Experience in developing and implementing churn mitigation programs and managing operational metrics is also required.

Responsibilities

The Director of Strategic Customer Operations will be responsible for creating standards and best practices for customer interactions, defining and implementing customer experience KPIs, and leading solution transformation. They will partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align operations with revenue goals, identify opportunities for customer value expansion, and develop churn mitigation programs. This role involves overseeing service delivery, project execution, and customer relationship management, driving operational excellence, and establishing refined operational policies. Additionally, the Director will act as a technical escalation point, provide input into solution architecture, and lead cross-functional teams to resolve complex service delivery challenges and manage customer escalations.
