Candidates must be located in the Pacific Northwest (Portland, Seattle, etc.) region and possess a Bachelor's degree. A minimum of 7 years of experience managing or implementing energy efficiency, demand response, or load management programs for North American utilities is required, along with 5+ years of team leadership experience. Additionally, 3+ years of experience working with utilities in the Northwest, including knowledge of regional priorities, regulatory rulings, and program structures, is necessary. Proven ability to design and deliver innovative solutions that align with client strategic goals and improve existing program outcomes is essential, as is the ability to travel.
The Delivery Services Director will lead and strengthen strategic client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor who proactively identifies opportunities to build on existing successes and advance client objectives. They will engage directly with client leadership to co-develop forward-looking strategies, translate client priorities into actionable delivery plans, and ensure programs are innovative, high-quality, and impactful. Responsibilities include promptly addressing and resolving client concerns, ensuring quality of services, contract compliance, and achievement of performance metrics while meeting delivery schedules. The role involves securing and aligning staffing and resources, maintaining financial accountability for assigned projects, and collaborating with Business Development to identify and capture new opportunities. Accurate forecasting, strategic insights, and mentoring staff to enhance client engagement skills, technical expertise, and innovative problem-solving are also key duties.
