Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in Professional Services, Solution Architecture, or Pre-Sales roles within a SaaS or enterprise software environment. A minimum of 4 years in a senior leadership role managing teams of architects, consultants, or solution engineers is required. Demonstrated experience bridging Sales, Product, and Delivery to design scalable solutions that drive business outcomes, strong technical acumen with the ability to translate business needs into solution frameworks and project plans, deep experience with implementation estimation, delivery modeling, and solution standardization, and executive-level communication skills with a track record of cross-functional influence and strategic collaboration are also necessary. Experience developing tools, frameworks, and reusable assets to improve solutioning speed and quality is preferred, as is experience in a high-growth SaaS environment and familiarity with PSA, CRM, and scoping/estimation tools.
The Director of Solution Architecture & Strategy will lead and develop a team of Solution Architects responsible for crafting scalable, repeatable, and value-driven implementation designs. This role owns the solutioning funnel from Sales through implementation, ensuring proper scoping, customer alignment, and delivery readiness. The director will serve as the bridge between Sales, Product, and Services, ensuring technical feasibility, scope integrity, and product alignment. Responsibilities include building frameworks, tools, and estimation models to guide consistent project architecture, partnering with Sales leadership to enable effective discovery, estimation, and handoff practices, and influencing the product roadmap and packaging by funneling customer feedback, solution gaps, and common implementation blockers into Product. The role also involves establishing architecture standards, reusable solution patterns, and technical onboarding playbooks to drive delivery consistency, playing a key role in driving operational maturity across Services, and acting as a key partner to the VP of Professional Services on strategic initiatives.
