Requirements

Candidates must be US Citizens and are subject to a background check and unannounced drug testing requirements. Proven experience building, mentoring, and scaling high-performing Sales Engineering teams in fast-paced environments is required. Cybersecurity expertise in deploying, operating, or selling cybersecurity products is necessary. Outstanding communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences are essential. Experience delivering technical sales presentations, POCs, and integration demos for B2B enterprise customers is also required.

Responsibilities

The Director of Solutions Engineering will build, lead, and mentor a high-impact team of Solutions Engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional development. They will partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success leadership to define the technical sales strategy and execution to optimize customer outcomes. This role involves developing scalable programs and assets to support repeatable sales motions and accelerate deal velocity. The Director will own technical aspects of major strategic deals and provide executive-level support during complex sales cycles, while also enabling cross-functional teams on product capabilities. They will serve as a senior technical advisor to enterprise prospects, guiding customers through solution architecture, technical design, data ingestion, and integration planning. Responsibilities also include leading technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and customer inquiries, and representing RegScale at industry events as a thought leader in compliance automation. Additionally, the Director will establish key performance metrics to track team effectiveness, capture competitive intelligence, and standardize demo environments, use cases, and onboarding assets.
