Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably in inside sales within the hotels/hospitality industry. A strong track record of managing senior sales teams and the ability to effectively build and manage KPIs are essential. Proficiency in Salesforce and experience in coaching complex prospecting conversations are also required.

Responsibilities

The Director, Sales will act as a player-coach, contributing to acquisition goals while managing and growing a team of Sales Managers. Responsibilities include scaling the independent property business segment through prospecting, pitching, nurturing, and closing new business, as well as implementing coaching and management practices. The role involves conducting 1:1s and team meetings, creating sales presentations, assisting with hiring and training, establishing best practices in sales processes, and collaborating with cross-departmental teams. Additionally, the Director will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, achieving sales targets, and identifying improvements in the sales process.
