Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development, or an equivalent field. A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in human resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment, is required, along with at least one successful assignment as a Plant HR Manager. The role demands knowledge of advanced principles in human resources operations, training and coaching methods, and labor laws, legal codes, and regulations. Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

The Director of Operations, Human Resources will lead and motivate HR Managers and Business Partners to develop HR strategies, enhance organizational performance, and build capabilities for talent attraction, engagement, development, reward, and retention. This includes providing guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, employee development, compensation, performance management, DEI, culture, and belonging. The role involves leading change management initiatives, assessing organizational performance, defining talent gaps, and proposing HR solutions to support business growth. Responsibilities include operationalizing plant HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, compensation, training, employee relations, retention, and AA/EEO compliance, while also monitoring the HR budget and maintaining a safe work environment. The Director will lead and develop the HR team through coaching, mentoring, and creating development plans, promoting a culture of accountability and teamwork. They will also communicate company vision and strategies, build cross-functional relationships, and perform additional duties as assigned.
