Requirements

The Operations Director requires a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a related field, and possesses 5 or more years of experience in a leadership position within a manufacturing environment, demonstrating a proven track record of operational achievement. They should have experience managing a fast-moving manufacturing facility, including supply chain and warehouse functions, along with experience in staff management, appraisal, and team development. Strong communication and IT skills are also essential, alongside a commercial awareness and strategic ability.

Responsibilities

The Operations Director will provide leadership and direction to operations teams, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the production facility and financial aspects in line with budgets. They will develop and maintain best practices and production efficiencies, promote continuous improvement, improve manufacturing unit capabilities, integrate new products, lead and motivate staff, participate in the S&OP process, provide management reports, collaborate on budgeting, ensure relevant communication, maintain compliance with policies and regulations, develop department strategies, conduct performance reviews, oversee department performance, manage conflicts, and perform other assigned duties.
