Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, or Engineering is required, with a Master's degree strongly preferred. Candidates should possess over 10 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, with a certification in Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma Green Belt being preferred. The ability to create, implement, communicate, cascade, and execute strategic processes is essential, along with experience managing facilities in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities

The Director of Operations will provide tactical and strategic oversight for manufacturing operations, including overall facility responsibility. Responsibilities include developing and deploying improvement actions related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Culture, and Environment (SQDCCE), manufacturing improvement initiatives, strategic sourcing models, and capital expenditure plans. The role also involves supporting New Product Development, achieving business objectives for expense plans and margin expansion, and leading the Operational Excellence function and culture throughout the operation.
