Requirements

Candidates should possess a BA/BS degree or 15+ years of experience in community or marketing, with at least 8 years in people management. Familiarity with the creative professional or creator audience and experience with product strategy, planning, user-centered design, product-led growth, customer feedback cycles, and iterative development are essential. Expertise in scaling engaged NDA online communities, customer-centricity, and the ability to work entrepreneurially within a large organization are also required. Experience building and scaling teams, a player/coach mentality, and familiarity with AI data tools for feedback synthesis are necessary. General strategy or product strategy consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Director will lead a team responsible for building early access communities to shape product roadmaps, inform launch messaging, and foster community advocates. This role involves partnering with product, marketing, and executive leadership to integrate community feedback into product roadmaps and create scalable infrastructure for community interaction. Responsibilities include managing beta programs, growing and nurturing NDA communities for key customer segments, and driving strategy for surfacing insider communities across Adobe's ecosystem. The Director will also serve as a strategic partner to product marketing, product management, and community leaders, briefing them on community insights and gathering input on new product innovations.
