  • Utilizes deep technical knowledge and business acumen to advise on product development roadmap and user experience; consults with technical experts and contributes towards product development
  • Manages all aspects of multiple large and complex digital campaigns, including developing and refining campaign plans and goals, developing technical or creative calls-to-action, and ensuring execution across campaigns
  • Begins to integrate multichannel connection points within website (e.g., Walmart.com) to understand newer, better ways to increase value and returns from all digital efforts
  • Interfaces and consults with internal teams (e.g., product engineering) to provide input on site features and capabilities
  • Manages relationships with external agencies and business technology partners; provides strategic direction to the digital team on most effective agency partners and their value to Marketing
  • Continuously adjusts strategy and plans based on campaign ROI, real-time trends, and other insights
  • Partners with internal teams (Creative, Marketing Strategy and Planning) to help draft creative direction and key messages for large and complex campaigns
  • Leverages understanding of multiple digital media channels (own and related) to inform optimum media investment strategy
  • Guides Digital Media's execution of the creative brief in collaboration with internal teams for complex campaigns and initiatives; identifies optimal processes and touchpoints ensuring agility and process efficiency
  • Consults with Digital Media leadership to understand future business needs and provides input into process workflow change strategy and approach
  • Prepares team for upcoming changes in processes and procedures
  • Develops and leads oversight of multiple campaigns' budget; suggests readjustments to channel plans/programs to ensure operational objectives are being met
  • Develops projections and budget forecasts for current and future campaigns; provides input into digital media financial management and revenue metrics tracking
  • Collaborates with Marketing leaders, external agencies, key business technology partners, and cross-functional leadership (digital and in-store) to ensure digital marketing campaigns are developed and implemented effectively across the organization for their own channel as well as across all digital media channels
  • Proactively develops new relationships with agencies and/or other strategic partners and acts as key relationship owner for existing partnerships
  • Supports the development of strategies for driving engagement on social media platforms, including internal vs. external agency support
  • Provides guidance and expertise for social media content development (e.g., guidelines, playbooks, toolkits)
  • Oversees the implementation
