Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years hands-on/proven record of successful senior sales operations (head of retail & wholesale) leadership experience in a company with similar business size/organization size
  • Demonstrated strength in leadership skills with the ability to define a clear vision and motivate teams to achieve goals
  • Proven record of savvy business judgment along with mental agility, curiosity, and flexibility in a dynamic, fast-paced, and constantly changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build and foster relationships with cross-functional partners
  • Established ability to lead in a collaborative style and communicate in an engaging and impactful manner

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall sales performance in Korea, including development and execution of sales plans, targets, and budgets
  • Develop retail & wholesale business strategy to drive sustainable sales growth and sales excellence aligned with brand direction
  • Build a high-performing team embedded with a compete-to-win culture
  • Elevate consumer experience to amplify brand messages
  • Develop and maintain strategic business relationships with major accounts to promote brand awareness and profitable relationships
  • Provide ongoing support to high-value clients ensuring high-quality customer service
  • Explore and maximize commercial opportunities to drive sustainable sales growth
  • Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the business, including revenue generation, cost containment, and resource optimization
  • Leverage metrics and operational indicators to measure, motivate, and enhance performance
  • Develop and nurture a high-performing team to support sales and drive year-on-year performance improvement
  • Develop, introduce, and implement business processes to ensure consistent performance in Columbia stores
  • Manage successful relationships with other departments, identifying opportunities and making recommendations for improvement to maximize service to stores and increase productivity
  • Play a key contributor role in the Go-to-Market (GTM) process and Omni-channel strategy
  • Act as a “policy maker” for better inventory utilization in an omni-channel model to maximize total revenues and minimize negative impact to key stores/channels/accounts
  • Responsible for retail training program, including design, execution, and measurement of effectiveness, aligned with sales strategies to deliver the right message to store managers
  • Responsible for comprehensive retail information analysis to drive better business decisions
