Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or business management/engineering management, with an interest in production line IT systems, or equivalent relevant experience. One to three years of experience are preferred, and familiarity with IT network systems and the GE tool Plant Applications Client (Proficy) is a plus. Willingness to travel occasionally and relocate during their career is also required.

Responsibilities

The Digitization Project Manager will provide technical leadership and guidance related to digital systems to the plant organization, helping to deliver significant savings. They will create a plant digital master plan that drives out current losses, gain an understanding of integrated work systems (IWS) methodology, and collaborate with the South Boston Manufacturing group to implement key business unit productivity projects centered around digitization and a touch-less operation.
