Requirements

Candidates must have over 8 years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with proven experience in managing complex IAM deployments from design to maintenance. Hands-on experience with enterprise Okta platforms, identity lifecycle automation tools like Okta Workflows and HRIS integrations, and familiarity with IAM governance, RBAC, and regulatory frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO, NIST, and GDPR are essential. The role requires a strong track record of effective communication and collaboration, the ability to balance daily execution with long-term strategy, and proficiency in working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Experience in preparing audit evidence and delivering executive-level reporting on IAM maturity and risk posture is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The IT Engineer will design, implement, and manage enterprise IAM solutions including SSO, MFA, and directory services, driving adoption of Zero Trust and modern cloud IAM architectures across Okta, AWS, GCP, Azure, and SaaS ecosystems. Responsibilities include building and maintaining joiner/mover/leaver workflows, leading quarterly access reviews, segregation-of-duties assessments, and role-attestation processes. The engineer will also assist in preparing evidence for SOC 2, ISO27001, and other regulatory audits, define and enforce IAM governance, RBAC, and policy frameworks, and oversee IAM platform operations for high availability and reliability. Additionally, they will provide escalation support for complex IT issues, lead IAM-related projects, mentor junior IT staff, and conduct IAM risk assessments, audits, and incident response activities, delivering regular reporting on IAM performance and risk posture.
