Requirements

Candidates should possess an Associate's degree, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred, ideally from a Veterinary Technology Program. A minimum of one year of experience working in a clinical setting is required, along with basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Adobe. Basic knowledge of animal disease states and diagnostic products, instrumentation, and clinic processes is preferred. Candidates must have an analytical mindset, critical thinking skills, and the ability to travel up to 75% of the work week, including overnight stays and travel to multiple locations within SD, NE, MN, as well as attend initial training in CA and PA, and national/regional meetings.

Responsibilities

The Diagnostics Technical Specialist will provide onsite support to veterinary clinics, research labs, and academic settings, focusing on implementation, training, operation, applications, and problem resolution for diagnostic products. Responsibilities include managing customer relationships to improve product utilization and adoption, identifying and resolving clinic pain points through workflow process improvements, and responding to requests for technical support. The specialist will also provide product installation, validation, and application training, complete daily activity documentation with detailed customer visit reports, and create and deliver effective training presentations. They will collaborate with sales teams to identify new opportunities and must be able to safely lift and move up to 60 lbs.
