Requirements

Candidates must have hands-on experience working in a veterinary clinic, such as a veterinary technician or practice manager, and deep experience with multiple veterinary PIMS platforms like AVImark, Cornerstone, Impromed, or Pulse. A strong background in software implementation or support, exceptional written communication and documentation skills, and experience training others on complex systems are also required. The ability to balance technical work with strategic thinking and internal enablement, along with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, is essential.

Responsibilities

The Veterinary PIMS Specialist will act as the company-wide expert on Vetcove's PIMS platform, handling complex clinical and technical questions and providing specialized guidance on migrating legacy PIMS workflows. They will partner closely with the Implementation team to resolve escalated issues, diagnose onboarding challenges, and collaborate with Product, Strategy, and Engineering teams to identify platform gaps. This role involves training and mentoring Implementation Managers, authoring and maintaining detailed documentation, participating in high-touch client engagements for complex launches, and ensuring technical concepts are translated into accessible resources and scalable implementation strategies.
