Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of DevOps or SRE experience, with experience in 24x7 production operations, preferably supporting a highly available environment for a SaaS or cloud service provider. Proficiency in Linux, Shell Scripts, AWS cloud infrastructure environments, Kubernetes, and Python for scripting is required. A strong understanding of system and networking concepts, troubleshooting techniques, and excellent interpersonal and teaming skills are essential, along with the ability to operate in an agile, entrepreneurial start-up environment.

Responsibilities

The DevOps Engineer will build and maintain a resilient, secure, and efficient SaaS application platform to meet established SLAs, and automate deployment, monitoring, management, and incident response. They will scale infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demand, manage cross-functional requirements by working with Engineering, Product, Services, and other departments, and collaborate with developers to bring new features and services into production. Additionally, the role involves developing and improving operational practices and procedures, and proactively meeting standards for information security and compliance, such as ISO, SOX, and SSAE 16.
