Requirements

Candidates should possess a solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, DevOps functions, and CI/CD, along with a passion for designing, writing, and delivering high-quality software. Prior experience presenting software engineering related subjects to technical audiences is required, as well as a strong proven experience in one or more of the following programming languages.

Responsibilities

As a Developer Advocate, you will engage and build mindshare with developers across various communities through thought leadership and tactical content, focusing on software engineering best practices, software development lifecycle best practices, and software quality. You will strengthen collaboration with communities, forums, and projects, create compelling technical content such as blogs, podcasts, and webinars, and develop unique demos in conjunction with vendors and partners. Additionally, you will host meetups, orchestrate workshops, speak at conferences and events, promote and drive attendance for developer events, establish relationships with technology communities, and collaborate with product teams to provide feedback on Sonar products. Finally, you will partner with sales engineers and product marketers to advocate for code quality and security within diverse forums.
