Position Overview
Pathway is building live AI systems that think and learn in real time, aiming to deeply understand how and why LLMs work and fundamentally change how models think. This role is crucial in achieving key company goals such as driving product adoption, raising awareness as a thought leader among developers, and decreasing time-to-deployment/time-to-value for the product. The target audience for Pathway's product is primarily developers in corporate environments (enterprise and large scale-ups) who will integrate Pathway into their daily development and data stack for data pipelines and analytics projects.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive developer relations and community engagement strategy to foster relationships and grow Pathway's developer community.
- Represent Pathway's products and services at industry events, meetups, and other relevant forums, engaging with key stakeholders such as Solution Architects, Data Engineers, and Chief Data Officers.
- Create compelling content (blog posts, social media updates, webinars, educational resources) to support developer outreach and engagement.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify and document key use cases and best practices for developers on Pathway's platform.
- Partner with the growth and Product Marketing teams to digitize or personalize growth initiatives.
- Measure and report on the success of developer relations and community engagement initiatives, using data insights to optimize future programs.
- Manage communication and relationships with relevant industry forums, associations, and organizations to stay updated on trends in stream processing and data engineering.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years in developer relations, community management, or a related role, preferably in the software or technology industry.
- Technical Understanding:
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, tools, and technologies.
- Familiarity with developer platforms, APIs, and basic cloud technology concepts.
- Data engineering experience is a bonus.
- Adaptability: Willingness to discuss a wide range of data topics (from ETL to real-time LLMs) and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to create engaging content for a technical audience.
- Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with developers and other technology community stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with experience using data to measure and optimize developer engagement programs.
- Strategic Thinking: Ambition and willingness to adopt a "thought-leadership" approach in developer relations strategy.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
