Requirements

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in developer relations or community management within the software or technology industry. A strong understanding of software development best practices, tools, and technologies, along with familiarity with developer platforms, APIs, and basic cloud technology concepts is required. Data engineering experience is a bonus. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build and maintain relationships with developers, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to adopt a thought-leadership angle are essential. A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

The DevRel & Community Manager will develop and execute a comprehensive developer relations and community engagement strategy to foster relationships and grow Pathway's developer community. This role involves representing Pathway's products at industry events and meetups, creating compelling content such as blog posts and webinars, and working closely with product and engineering teams to document use cases and best practices. The position also includes collaborating with growth and product marketing teams on initiatives, measuring and reporting on the success of programs, and managing relationships with industry forums to stay updated on trends in stream processing and data engineering.
