Responsibilities

Shape UX vision and priorities across your group
Align 3-4 cross-functional squads around user-centred goals
Act as a hands-on leader (Player-Coach): spend ~40% of time on strategic discovery, vision prototyping, and unblocking squad work
Spend ~60% of time developing your team – growing skillsets, managing performance, and raising the UX quality bar
Champion quality and growth: embed critique culture, QA standards, and operational UX excellence across squads
Drive scalable, cost-efficient systems
Collaborate across disciplines (Research, Data, Product, and Engineering)
Embed Growth Design practices – prioritize experiments, optimisation, and measurable improvements
Evolve design operations – shape planning rituals and workflows
Hire, lead, and develop a team of 2-5 product designers
