Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in product design
  • Portfolio that emphasizes strategic process (JTBD, complex user flows, annotated wireframes, case studies on problem definition)
  • Based in the United States
  • Deep understanding of North American user behavior and market expectations
  • Proven mastery of wireframing and creating clear, functional, and well-documented UX deliverables
  • Deep understanding of UX fundamentals (information architecture, interaction design, "Jobs to be Done" methodology)
  • Experience packaging and handing off work to other designers or remote development teams
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Exceptional communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead the foundational UX and discovery process for new products and features
  • Partner with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to facilitate workshops and define scope
  • Develop core UX artifacts (Jobs to be Done, user flows, journey maps, sitemaps, wireframes, and low-fidelity prototypes)
  • Package and document work into a complete "design blueprint"
  • Hand off projects to global product design teams and ensure a smooth transition to execution
  • Act as a strategic guide for execution teams, answering questions and ensuring alignment with foundational UX strategy
