Candidates should have recent experience as an account principal, delivery principal, engineering director, consulting director, or engineering vice president, and a passion for modern engineering practices and enabling clients through knowledge transfer, coaching, training, and upskilling. They should be accountable for engagement excellence, build and maintain solid client relationships as a trusted strategic advisor, and drive overall engagement success. The role may involve managing 4-10 direct team members and potentially 8-10 second-line reports, ranging from Associate Engineer to Technical Principal, and be responsible for one large engagement or several smaller engagements.
The Delivery Principal will foster positive team morale, provide individual feedback, drive staffing needs for engagements, contribute to and evolve the overall strategy for the DevOps technical engagement, deliver with excellence by executing contractual obligations, and provide an excellent customer experience. They will also act as a “hands-on” trusted advisor for clients’ DevOps transformation and guide others to do the same, effectively communicate in difficult conversations, and navigate ambiguity and frequent change.
