Customer Enablement Lead
Help ScoutFull Time
Junior (1 to 2 years)
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in data enablement, BI administration, analytics, or data governance. Proven ability to design and deliver training, enablement programs, and/or internal certifications that drive BI adoption at scale is required. Strong track record of partnering with technical and business teams to translate needs, document shared definitions, enforce data standards, and collaborate effectively to achieve goals is necessary. Advanced skills with modern BI tools that have semantic layers (e.g., Omni, Looker) and familiarity with data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, dbt), along with a solid understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts, are essential. Excellent communication and organizational skills are needed, along with the capability to lead strategic projects with minimal guidance and balance multiple priorities. A proactive approach with a high degree of ownership, the ability to identify improvement opportunities, drive new processes, and rally teams to solve problems collaboratively, is also required.
The Data Enablement Manager will own BI enablement, including tool administration, standards, and stewardship for semantic layer BI tools, ensuring users stay up-to-date on evolving features. They will design and deliver data literacy programs, including office hours, trainings, onboarding new hires, and certification pathways that scale across hundreds of users. This role involves serving as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering feedback from BI users, advocating for their needs, and ensuring adoption of standards and alignment on trusted metrics while shaping Analytics and Data Engineering priorities. The manager will partner with Data Analytics and Data Engineering to enforce consistency, data quality, and documentation practices. They will build and lead communities-of-practice for BI users to share best practices and elevate data fluency. Additionally, they will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring adoption of standards and alignment on trusted metrics, and track the adoption and effectiveness of enablement programs, continuously iterating for impact. Occasional duties outside standard working hours may be required due to the remote-first, multi-timezone nature of the company.
