Responsibilities

The Customer Success Technical Architect will act as a trusted technical advisor and advocate for customers, ensuring their success, retention, and expansion by providing technical guidance and best practices for the Confluent product suite. This role involves partnering with internal teams to accelerate customer time to value, maximize product consumption, and achieve business objectives. Responsibilities include advising on architectures, patterns, and strategies for operating and maturing Confluent subscriptions, guiding customers on achieving business goals through their Confluent investment, and building experience with Kafka, Flink, and Confluent IP. The architect will champion the customer internally, identify and address technical objections, proactively support customers through technical lifecycle activities like architecture planning and security design, and guide customers on data streaming maturity. They will also develop and present customer reviews, document and transfer knowledge, influence the product roadmap based on customer environments, and assist in addressing customer issues when necessary.
