DroneDeploy is seeking a Customer Success Manager for Energy & Emerging Markets to join their Go-To-Market team. This role focuses on managing strategic customer relationships in sectors such as energy production, renewables, utilities, telecom, and facilities management. The Customer Success Manager will act as a product expert and trusted advisor, helping customers maximize the value derived from DroneDeploy's reality capture solutions. This role reports to the Manager of Customer Success, Scaled, with the primary goal of maximizing customer impact, driving adoption, increasing engagement, and expanding account value.

About Our Energy & Emerging Customer Success Management Team

This team focuses on assisting customers in industries such as oil & gas, renewable energy, utilities, and facilities management to transform their operations with aerial and ground-based reality capture technology. They build high-impact partnerships to drive operational efficiency, innovation, and measurable value, leveraging deep industry understanding, technical expertise, and proactive collaboration. CSMs work cross-functionally with Product Support, Professional Services, Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to ensure exceptional customer experiences, focusing on account health, long-term relationships, retention, and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Drive adoption and usage of the DroneDeploy platform across the assigned account portfolio.
  • Ensure rapid onboarding, measurable outcomes, and time to value for customers.
  • Collaborate with Sales to identify wins, expansion opportunities, and manage renewals.
  • Analyze usage trends to identify customer champions, potential risks, and strategic upsell paths.
  • Act as a strategic partner throughout the customer lifecycle, from kickoff to renewal.
  • Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, ranging from field users to executives.
  • Serve as the customer's internal advocate, channeling feedback to product and engineering teams.
  • Co-create success plans, rollout strategies, and partner on business reviews.
  • Accurately forecast renewals and expansion in collaboration with Sales.
  • Support the resolution of technical issues by leveraging cross-functional support.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Enterprise SaaS Sales.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing enterprise relationships.
  • Prior experience supporting or working with customers in the energy, utilities, telecom, or renewables sectors is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in high-growth B2B SaaS environments.
