Requirements

Candidates should have over 3 years of experience in software/SaaS sales and/or customer success, preferably with enterprise clients. A working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, developer tools, coding agents, platform engineering, CI/CD, and the SDLC is required. Experience with Salesforce and other industry-standard CS platforms, along with a history of building strong relationships across executive, business, and technical stakeholders, is necessary. High emotional intelligence, strong verbal communication, technical writing skills, self-motivation, and a creative, analytical approach to problem-solving are also essential. Ability to travel up to 20% is required. Bonus points for customer success or sales experience focused on developer tools, renewal management experience, and familiarity with AI and the developer tools ecosystem.

Responsibilities

The Customer Success Manager will guide customers from onboarding through renewal, clearing blockers and aligning the Coder platform to their goals. Responsibilities include leading rollouts, monitoring health and usage, and keeping stakeholders informed. This role involves partnering with Sales on expansions and renewals, and collaborating with Support and Product on issues and feedback. Key duties include owning onboarding and rollout plans, removing barriers to adoption, engaging with customers to understand goals and provide guidance, identifying expansion opportunities, overseeing renewals and forecasting, serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries and escalations, and reporting on customer health and usage.
