The Customer Marketing Manager role requires a strong understanding of customer marketing principles and experience in building customer communication programs and advocacy engines. Candidates should be adept at identifying enthusiastic customers, telling their stories, and amplifying them across various channels to deepen relationships, strengthen the brand, and drive pipeline. Collaboration with Product Marketing and Customer Success teams to identify strategic customers, capture feedback, and inform the product roadmap is essential. Experience in developing and executing cross-sell and expansion campaigns is also required.
The Customer Marketing Manager will drive a communication strategy to inform customers of new product features and encourage product usage and advocacy. This involves identifying, engaging, and nurturing customer advocates, and partnering with content and design teams to create compelling assets such as case studies, videos, blogs, and testimonials. The role includes managing the customer reference program for sales and analyst engagements, sourcing and preparing customer speakers for events, webinars, podcasts, and media opportunities, and embedding customer voices into integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, and industry events. Additionally, the manager will develop and run expansion and cross-sell customer campaigns in collaboration with Customer Success and Sales teams.
