A strong understanding of data structures, segmentation logic, and data management principles is required, along with experience in API integrations and webhooks. Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email templates, familiarity with scripting languages like AMPscript, Handlebars, or Liquid for personalization, and project management experience are also necessary. The ability to analyze campaign performance and a strategic perspective on CRM's impact on the customer lifecycle and business goals are essential. This role is remote and based in the U.S.
The CRM Manager will be responsible for shaping the development, implementation, and optimization of user email engagement campaigns, including onboarding, cross-sell, browse abandonment, and promotional journeys. They will build operational plans to welcome new users and deepen relationships with existing ones, using data-driven insights to create revenue-generating campaigns. This role involves leading the day-to-day management and long-term operational strategy of the CRM platform, designing, building, and launching automated email, SMS, and push notification campaigns. The manager will serve as a primary user of the CRM and marketing technology stack, guide the technical implementation of new campaigns and features, and measure success by monitoring campaign performance, analyzing key metrics, and sharing insights for optimization. Key responsibilities include translating business goals into actionable CRM marketing strategies, building customer journeys and segmentation strategies, leveraging data to optimize CRM efforts, sharing learnings, championing operational excellence by documenting best practices and ensuring compliance, and managing multiple priorities while partnering with various teams to maximize business impact.
