Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a data scientist or in a related role, developing, deploying, and monitoring large analytic data sets and machine learning-based models. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with CRM, marketing analytics, or lifecycle management is required. Expertise in fundamental statistical concepts, methods for campaign measurement including uplift/net lift modeling, treatment/control designs, and causal inference is essential. Proficiency in Python/R for modeling and SQL/Spark for data manipulation, along with experience using libraries such as Pandas, StatsModels, PYMC, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark/ML, scikit-learn, and NumPy, is necessary. The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks without sacrificing quality is also required.
The Senior Data Scientist will work on a cross-functional team to implement data-driven solutions for vehicle brand marketing teams, ensuring project deliverables meet business needs and timelines. This role involves possessing contextual business knowledge and domain expertise in advertising and media, including familiarity with marketing media measurement techniques like site/clickstream measurement and A/B testing. The individual will partner with CRM, Marketing, and Data Science teams to design and execute advanced measurement frameworks evaluating campaign effectiveness, incremental revenue impact, and customer engagement. Responsibilities include applying advanced data-driven modeling techniques for preprocessing multisource data, presenting complex information through data visualization, and driving business impact through data, analytics, and insights. The role requires demonstrating constrained curiosity, asking 'why,' and suggesting experimentation to drive incremental impact. Effective communication of data-driven stories to various stakeholder levels is crucial. Additionally, the Senior Data Scientist will apply advanced modeling and analytics to optimize campaign targeting, channel strategy, and customer journey orchestration.
