Conversion & Growth Lead

Position Overview

The Conversion & Growth Lead is a key driver of performance improvement across our business. This role owns the full lifecycle of conversion optimization, from identifying opportunities to executing tests and scaling successful initiatives. It's a growth-oriented position that blends traditional CRO responsibilities, such as A/B testing, with broader ownership of our site optimization strategy and roadmap. The goal is to enhance conversion rates, which in turn fuels audience growth through smarter marketing, high-impact content, and new revenue strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, syndication platforms, and other sources to identify growth opportunities and take action.
  • Own and evolve the A/B testing roadmap, managing the process from idea generation to rollout and analysis.
  • Write conversion-focused copy (CTAs, headlines, landing pages) that aligns with the editorial voice.
  • Identify and scale high-impact revenue drivers across the site.
  • Identify and execute on new site functionality or improvements to existing functionality that supports target KPI growth.
  • Improve performance outcomes of content syndicated to external partners.
  • Expand and optimize Motley Fool Money affiliate product pitches on the flagship investing site, Fool.com.
  • Communicate key findings to stakeholders across the team.

Requirements

  • Comfortable analyzing your own data.
  • Ability to prioritize opportunities based on potential impact.
  • Proficiency in executing through multiple levers: testing, content updates, copywriting, UX enhancements, and site functionality improvements.
  • AI-literate: actively looking for ways to use AI tools to accelerate analysis, improve creative output, and expand testing capabilities.
  • Fluency in how digital content businesses operate, user motivations, and tactical changes that drive performance and monetization.
  • A creative problem solver who moves quickly from idea to execution.
  • Ability to identify and fluidly shift focus to the highest impact opportunities.
