Job Title: Strategy & Operations Lead

Salary: $126,000 Employment Type: Full-time Location Type: Remote (US) - Preference for PST timezone

As part of our Strategy & Operations team, you will play a crucial role in shaping Oura's future in health. You will collaborate with our leadership team to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, influencing our long-term strategy. This role is ideal for curious problem-solvers with a customer-first mindset and a background in finance or strategy, preferably within the health, consumer tech, or CPG industries.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and evolve Oura's corporate strategy and help set near and long-term strategic priorities aligned with our long-term vision.
  • Explore new avenues for Oura to create value for members and inform leadership on opportunities to evolve our business model.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats in the digital and personal health landscape.
  • Assess the strategic implications and business impact of emerging trends, market opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Perform detailed market sizing, competitive analysis, and evaluate the strategic fit of new growth opportunities with Oura's long-range plan.
  • Develop business cases and financial models for strategic initiatives, quantifying potential impact and investment requirements.
  • Build strong relationships and drive consensus with cross-functional teams and leaders on strategic growth and operational opportunities.
  • Identify capabilities required to deliver our long-range plan and build frameworks and an M&A pipeline to support Corporate Development.
  • Manage our portfolio of strategic initiatives, identify risks, and ensure resources and capital are invested to maximize business impact.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and strategic performance updates to the broader executive leadership team.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the Strategy & Operations team's roadmap, methodologies, and analytical capabilities.

Requirements

  • 7-9+ years of professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a high-performing strategy team.
  • Proven experience working with executive leadership in a strategy, Chief of Staff, or similar high-impact role.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, including financial modeling capabilities (e.g., Excel).
  • Ability to build simple yet impactful presentations for executive audiences.
  • Proficiency in navigating ambiguity and complexity, with effective prioritization and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity and passion for health & wellness products and experiences, healthcare, and the digital health space.
