Position Overview

Luxury Presence is seeking a technically strong Web Developer to optimize our websites for peak conversion rates. This role goes beyond basic WordPress development, focusing on architecting fast, reliable, and scalable front-end solutions. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent Core Web Vitals, deploying A/B tests, and translating Figma designs into production-ready code. Your work will directly impact revenue and contribute significantly to our company's growth.

Requirements

Skillset:

• Architect custom WordPress themes and plugins using ACF, CPTs, hooks, and the REST API.
• Translate Figma designs into production-ready HTML5/CSS3 (Sass)/JavaScript (vanilla, jQuery) and React components.
• Optimize front-end performance (lazy-load assets, minify, cache, CDN tuning, script management).
• Instrument Core Web Vitals monitoring (CrUX, Lighthouse, real-user data).
• Configure Cloudflare for secure deployments, DNS management, and caching rules.
• Integrate dynamic landing pages via HubSpot APIs and embed behavioral-analytics tools (Hotjar, A/B-testing platforms).
• Perform on-page conversion rate optimization: craft hypotheses, implement A/B tests (headlines, CTAs, layouts), analyze real user data, and iterate to lift key conversion metrics.
• Leverage AI-powered coding assistants responsibly to accelerate delivery without sacrificing code quality.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining highly customized WordPress sites at scale.
• Demonstrated front-end expertise: deep HTML/CSS/Sass, modern JavaScript patterns, and React.
• Hands-on proficiency with performance monitoring stacks, CDNs, and DNS setups.
• Prior HubSpot integration experience (API, CMS modules, dynamic content).
• Solid Git-based CI/CD workflow: branching strategies, staging environments, rollbacks, and live-error tracking.
• Proven track record in conversion rate optimization: designing and running A/B tests, analyzing real-user data, and iterating to drive measurable lifts in key conversion metrics.

Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes

• Performance as a Constraint: Keep LCP, FID, CLS targets in the green at all times; automate monitoring alerts; adhere to performance budgets.
• Maintainable Codebase: Write modular, documented, and test-backed code that is easily extendable by other engineers.
• Data-Driven Experimentation: Own end-to-end A/B testing cycles, from hypothesis generation to measurement, driving measurable lifts in conversion metrics.
• Automation & Efficiency: Continually streamline repetitive tasks (builds, deployments, tests) and introduce tooling improvements.
• AI Integration: Evaluate and adopt AI tools that meaningfully boost developer productivity without sacrificing standards.
• Design Partnership: Critically review designs to identify and implement the highest-impact layouts and interactions for conversion.
