Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience working with customers in a post-sales technical role, with at least 3 years of people leadership and management experience and 3 years of experience in selling professional services. They should possess extensive knowledge of and experience with large-scale database technology, non-relational platforms, data integration tools, and BI tools. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-a-service platforms and experience scoping multiple data platform implementations are also required. A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is necessary. Strong presentation skills and knowledge of data architecture, data warehouses, and data engineering are essential.
As a Consulting Manager, the individual will guide customers through their migration journey to Snowflake, working with Professional Services, Practice Directors, and Sales Account Teams on sales pursuits. They will collaborate with Service Delivery Managers to oversee PS engagements, develop methodologies to improve PS offerings, and help create strategies with technology vendors. The role involves providing guidance on resolving customer technical challenges, leading recruiting efforts, providing delivery quality oversight, and managing internal accelerators. Additionally, the Consulting Manager will present Snowflake’s methodologies and capabilities to internal and external teams, collaborate with Product Management and Engineering, and lead recruiting efforts for Solutions Architects.
